18 building plans approved in April
The Buildings Department approved 18 building plans in April, including seven apartment and apartment/commercial developments, five commercial developments and the remaining were factory and industrial developments and community services developments. Among which, site at Anderson Road in Kwun Tong approved to construct four 9-20-storey residential buildings and 2-storey basement, and a total GFA of 259,000 sq ft will be provided.

Private residential completion up 260% m-o-m in April
According to The Buildings Department’s statistics, the private residential completion recorded 1,545 units in April, up 260% m-o-m (March: 432 units), reaching the highest in this year. A total of 2,516 private units were completed in the first four months in 2019, edged up 2% y-o-y.

Mount Nicholson transacted at HKD 455 m
Mount Nicholson Phase 3, The Peak sold out two units, cashing in HKD 877 million. Among which, Unit 5D, with a saleable area of 4,596 sq ft, has been transacted at HKD 455 million or HKD 99,000 per sq ft.

Shop at Tsim Sha Tsui slashed 5.5%
Shop G23, G/F, Hankow Centre, 5-15 Hankow Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, with an area of 720 sq ft, has been sold at HKD 31 million or HKD 43,000 per sq ft. The original owner purchased the shop at HKD 32.8 million in 2014, making a book loss of HKD 1.8 million and a 5.5% depreciation in five years.
